- A director with the Brandon Chamber of Commerce for the Years 2002 – 2004.

- I grew up on a PMU Farm (Horse Farm) just outside of Brandon.
- After high school graduation I attended Manitoba Fire College. As I was attending fire college I was involved in an accident that changed my life “hopefully for the better”!
